🧙🏼‍♂️ New ChatGPT plugins, Code Interpreter launched, build your own plugin

whatplugin weekly #2

Hi there,

A warm welcome to the 86 new subscribers who joined last week, and this second edition of whatplugin weekly.

This issue is brought to you by Opentools AI:

🤖 Opentools AI lets you find the right AI tool for your task in seconds from the largest collections on the web. Check out their website or their ChatGPT plugin by the same name. Try Opentools AI now.

Let’s dig right into the latest and greatest plugins for ChatGPT released in the past week.

🔥 Top Plugins for ChatGPT launched in the past week:

  1. Tomtom - Enables developers to add AI-based navigation features to their apps. Regular users can use ChatGPT prompts for navigation.

  2. Lucid - Generate flowcharts and diagrams based on natural language or Mermaid syntax. You can generate the Mermaid code afterwards, so you can edit them further.

  3. Podcast Search - searches a big database of podcast based on your prompt, and gives you a list with direct links to relevant ones.

  4. Kiwi.com - Books the cheapest flights that other sites can't find with kiwi.com, making your travel more affordable.

  5. Export Chat to PDF - simple plugin that lets you export your chat to PDF. Does what it says!

📰 Code interpreter now available to all ChatGPT Plus subscribers

This week’s biggest news! OpenAI’s launched its own plugin – Code Interpreter – to all Plus subscribers.

To activate Code Interpreter, go to your settings inside ChatGPT, navigate to Beta Features, and switch the toggle to “on”.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Allows you to write and execute Python code directly within ChatGPT and upload files up to 100MB.

  • Vastly improves ChatGPT’s capabilities for analysing and visualising data.

  • Can transform an uploaded file (compatible with multiple formats) into detailed graphs, providing a simple explanation of the data and revealing the steps behind its analysis.

  • Is not just for coders! Think of it as a general-purpose toolbox that uses Python in the background to work with your files. It can even manipulate photos and videos, such as converting a photo into a GIF or trimming a video.

  • Only works with Python code, but is likely to expand to other programming languages in the near future. Could potentially become very useful in integration with third-party applications, like Github Co-Pilot.

  • It’s currently not possible to combine Code Interpreter directly with other ChatGPT plugins.
